Voice artist – is this a profession? Part 1

I can speak, and I can read a text, too. So, can I work as a voice artist?

Theoretically, yeah, but no one will probably hire you.

If you are really serious about becoming a voice artist and if you're not a natural talent (very few people are), then a lot of work is waiting for you, which is super interesting, exciting, and varied, but above all consists of a lot of training and practice, if possible every day. If you're not ready for that, you'd better stay away.

That says it all. 

How did I get started myself?

 I didn't always want to be an actress, nor was I told at a young age how great my voice was and that I should definitely work on my voice. No, it wasn't like that for me.
